Coached track sessions
Track coaching restarts this May.



That's a Wrap! (posted 14/8/21)

No more regular track sessions for a while now. The focus this autumn switches to coached pool swimming.

Any ad hoc track/run sessions will be advertised on our Facebook and Whatsapp.
A block of track training will restart in the spring (2022) as a build up to the new race season.

Session 11 Friday 13th August @ 7:30pm (posted 14/8/21)

Friday Coached session
Brecon Track

Park at BLC car park and walk down to the track with your bike (saves reliance on BLC opening the track gate on time).
Be at the Pavilion for 7.25pm. The Pavilion will not be in use though.
We'll take a group photo for registration purposes.
You will need:

To be dressed to run (and keep warm).

We will be benchmarking your current run speed as a baseline prior to winter training!

Friday Coached session

Be at the Pavilion for 7.25pm. The Pavilion will not be in use though.
We'll take a group photo for registration purposes.
You will need:

To be dressed to run (and keep warm).
If wet, have a change of clothes handy.

Bicycle
Cycle helmet - no helmet, no ride!

Trainers (we can't use cleats on the track)

We will be trying out some cycling games!

Bicycle
Cycle helmet - no helmet, no ride!

Trainers (we can't use cleats on the track)

We will be covering cornering, group riding and elastic bands in this session!

We will be covering braking plus having a look at posture, balance and stability when running.

Mixed Relay

What is Mixed Relay:
A team of 4 triathletes, 2 female, 2 male complete a super sprint course each and then tag their team mate. Order is always F:M:F:M and distances vary but are always shorter than a sprint triathlon.
